Dates and Details

Thursday, April 30, 2026

11:15 a.m.

School building main entrance (Jackson Avenue)

This will be the last time the Class of 2026 exits the school building together. Parents and families are invited to come cheer on their sons as they walk down the same stairs they walked up on their first day of the 3-C Program.

 

Final Report Card Grades

Final report card grades will be released through the report card portal on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, after 5:00 p.m. In order to view the final grades on the portal, the following must be complete: all tuition must be paid in full, return of textbooks to the school district or payment for missing books and return of all components of the graduation tuxedo package.

Seniors with One or Two Failures

Monday, May 5, 2026
Any student with a failure at the end of the year for a particular subject will be called by the AP Office between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Seniors can make up a maximum of two subjects and still have the opportunity to graduate with their classmates on Sunday, June 7, 2026. Students that have three or more failures will not be permitted to participate in any of the graduation events, including the commencement exercises on Sunday, June 7, 2026.

Monday, May 11- Tuesday, May 19, 2026
Seniors that are enrolled in make-up classes will report in regular school attire with their school ID and iPad for their assigned class time. Classes will be held each day and taught by a faculty member. Students will have daily assignments that will need to be completed both during class and at home. 

Wednesday, May 20, and Thursday, May 21, 2026
Any senior who failed one or more subjects will report at 8:00 a.m. to the AP Office to take his make-up comprehensive exam. The AP Office will communicate with the student as to which day he should report for his exam. The AP Office will call those students who have taken a make-up comprehensive to communicate the next steps.  Those phone calls will take place between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2026.

Seniors with Three or More Failures

Seniors with three or more failures will not be permitted to attend the Baccalaureate Mass or Commencement Exercises on June 7, 2026. These students will be able to make up two subjects prior to graduation on June 7, 2026. Any further make-up classes will commence on June 8, 2026, and are coordinated with the AP Office. 

Friday, May 15, 2026

Seniors and their dates should arrive at the Activity-Athletic Center (AAC) by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026. Students must be dropped off and picked up. They are not permitted to drive themselves.

AAC Wrestling Room

Students will receive their tickets for the Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement Exercises with their tuxedo. Students will receive four tickets to each event. Students need a ticket for the Baccalaureate Mass but DO NOT need a ticket for the Commencement Exercises. If any extra tickets become available, the AP Office will notify the students. They can sign up for these tickets if and when they become available. Seniors must pick up their own tuxedo and bring their iPad with them to either return or purchase the device. iPads will be inspected for damages upon return. Students will not be able to pick up their tuxedos without either returning or purchasing their iPads.

Dress for seniors is regular school attire (not a senior sweater). A suit is appropriate but not required. All guests need a ticket for the Mass, including seniors. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Sunday, June 7, 2026

Immediately following the Baccalaureate Mass. Seniors are required to be at Commencement practice. Attendance will be taken. Seniors should arrange transportation for leaving the practice. Historically, practice takes about one hour to complete.

4:00 p.m.
Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, LIU Post

All guests need to have a ticket.  Seniors do not need a ticket to attend as they will be seated on stage. Doors will open at 3:00 p.m. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Seniors should arrive fully dressed in their tuxedos and in the Hillwood Commons Area of the Tilles Center by 3:15 p.m. The exercises begin promptly at 4:00 p.m. and historically have ended by 6:15 p.m. There will be an opportunity for pictures to be taken after the ceremony, weather permitting.

The required dress for graduation is: white coat, black trousers, maroon cummerbund, maroon tie, black socks and black shoes. Professional fitters have recently taken measurements for graduation tuxedos at school. All candidates for graduation are to be clean-shaven and should have neatly cut hair that would be acceptable for school.

AAC Wrestling Room

Students need to return all parts of their graduation tuxedo.  Students are responsible for reimbursing the school for any damaged or missing pieces of their graduation tuxedo. The release of final grades and transcripts to your future college or university will be delayed until this process is completed.
