Dear Parents,
Rethink possible. Recently, you've heard me use this phrase often. It has become a guiding principle for the many decisions we have made over the past few months, from figuring out how to celebrate the Class of 2020 to cleaning out 1,700 lockers that were left untouched since Wednesday, March 11, 2020. Thanks to everyone pitching in, I think we've accomplished what we set out to do.
As we continue to rethink how school and classes can resume on campus this fall, we are considering things like alternate classroom spaces and additional lunchroom areas in order to enhance our health and safety protocols. As I am sure you are well aware, social distancing parameters will govern all of our decisions.
Now we request your assistance. Please click here to complete a survey regarding the reopening of Chaminade High School. Your feedback will help guide decisions as we rethink the opening of school and the resuming of classes on campus.
We look forward to sharing with you more details about school reopening in the weeks to come. Let us continue to pray for all those affected by the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic and for our essential workers and first responders.
