On Thursday, February 11, 2021, through Saturday, February 13, 2021, members of the Science Olympiad competed in the University of Cincinnati Invitational Tournament. This was our 6th virtual tournament of the year, and our Varsity Team A placed 6th out of 98 teams!
During this tournament, two of Chaminade's three Science Olympiad teams competed virtually against other schools from across the nation. The following students performed very well in the following events:
- 7th place in Astronomy - Nicholas Bifone and Brian Sessa
- 5th place in Boomilever - Tristen Ventura and Charlie Ambach
- 5th place in Ping Pong Parachute - Brian Sessa and Andrew Brites
- 9th place in Ping Pong Parachute - Andrew Oldenborg
- 4th place in Gravity Vehicle - Charlie Ambach and Tristen Ventura
- 9th in Dynamic Planet - Nicholas Bifone and Andrew Brites
- 10th place in Machines - Joseph Shammas and Brian Sessa
