A Chaminade junior has created an app for the school. Ryan O'Connor first had the idea as a freshman; the majority of his design was influenced by a conference with Apple in June.
It features many of the things you find here on the traditional Chaminade website, but also includes a live feed of articles from Tarmac and 360-degree images of several school landmarks. Visitors to Chaminade's Open House on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 2-4 p.m. may find the app particularly helpful as they follow self-guided tours and discern their decision to enroll.
To download the app, click the button in this article or search, "Chaminade High School" in the App Store.
O'Connor spent months developing the app. He released his first official app in 2015. O'Connor was selected to attend the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in California this year. He says that the advice and guidance he received there from Apple designers was "invaluable."
