Chaminade Family Gathers for Communion Breakfasts

Current Chaminade students and their families attended annual Communion Breakfasts in March. The mornings offer an opportunity for parents and sons to socialize together as a faith community.

Each Communion Breakfast begins with Mass in Darby Auditorium, followed by a meal and a guest lecture in the Activity-Athletic Center.

The Freshman/Junior Communion Breakfast on Sunday, March 4 welcomed Rev. Joe Fitzgerald to the Chaminade campus. Fr. Joe is the vocations director for the Diocese of Rockville Centre. Sophomores and seniors heard from Rev. Rob Ketcham, chaplain of St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School in West Islip.

Both priests embrace online communication as a way to share the Good News. Fr. Joe tweets daily on his Twitter account, and Fr. Rob is known for creating thought-provoking videos on his Facebook page.
