The 3-C Program is a four-day program created to help freshmen as they enter Chaminade High School. For a young man entering high school, it is normal to experience a mix of anxiety with the usual excitement.

The 3-C Program runs from Tuesday, August 26, 2025, through Friday, August 29, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
** Note: Friday, August 29, 2025, the orientation concludes at 2:00 p.m.
On the first day, each student will receive a schedule of his activities for the four days. Each day will provide a variety of experiences, including:
- Basic Orientation to Chaminade
– Sessions on Community, Confidence, and Commitment
– Visits to Major Campus Locations - Academics
– Academic Inquiry Session
– iPad Setup
– “Walk-Through” of Regular Class Schedule - Religious and Spiritual Experiences
– Eucharistic Adoration in the Chapel of Our Lady’s Assumption
– Visiting Saragossa Day Retreat Center
– Mass of the Holy Spirit for the Freshman Class - Orientation to Clubs and Activities
– Activity Fair
– Arts Presentation - Athletic Competitions
– Field Events at Various Athletic Venues on Campus
On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, all students should arrive at Chaminade and use the Main Entrance on Jackson Avenue. From there, they will be greeted and directed to their homerooms. Throughout the course of the 3-C Program, students will have the opportunity to explore the entire campus with their classmates, senior leaders, and teachers.
School districts do not provide transportation for the 3-C Program and will not until the first day of classes, Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
Students need to dress in accordance with the school handbook, less jacket and tie. In addition, athletic activities will be part of each day’s schedule. Each student will receive the Chaminade gym uniform (shorts and T-shirt) on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. Other athletic needs, including sneakers, white athletic socks, compression shorts, a bathing suit, and a towel, should be brought by each student every day, including Tuesday, August 26.
Students may bring their own lunch or purchase lunch (using cash) in the school cafeteria. Only beverages available in the cafeteria may be consumed. Please note that cafeteria MyKidsSpending accounts are not active during this week.
The 3-C Program is mandatory for all freshmen entering Chaminade High School and is included in the regular tuition, with no separate fee required. On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, each student will receive an iPad, gym uniform, and a school lock for their assigned locker, all provided at no additional cost.
Students should be dressed according to the guidelines previously stated. Each student should bring:
- Athletic attire—sneakers, white athletic socks, compression shorts, bathing suit, towel, etc.
- Lunch or money for lunch
- Willingness to get involved, meet new friends, and do new things!
