Take 43rd St. to the end. The Senior High School is at the end of the street. The parking lot is on the far side of the school, with the track behind the Senior High School. Take 69th street all the way to the end. Make a right -- Christ the King is on the left. To go to Farmers Oval, keep going to Fresh Pond Road. Make a left onto Fresh Pond Road. Go down about a mile. At the bridge carefully follow signs to the Harlem River Drive (if you miss this exit - follow direction for bus below). Take the Harlem River Drive - North, to Dyckman Street/10th Ave. Exit. At the traffic light, turn left onto the Dyckman. Stay on Dyckman to Broadway (Route 9), turn right. Take Broadway to 218th St. Turn left onto 218th St. Sports Complex is on the right. Parking is on the street. By Bus: Take the Triboro Bridge - following signs for the Major Deegan, North (Route 87). Take the Major Deegan North to West 230th St. Take 230th St. for just a couple of blocks to Broadway (Route 9). Turn left onto Broadway (South). Cross the 225th St. Bridge. At 218th St. turn right. From Suffolk: Take the Long Island Expressway or Northern State to Route 106/107 - Hicksville/Jericho - Exit North - Take Route 107 (which is the left fork after you have passed under Jericho Tpke.) (Route 25). Stay on 107 for a few miles to Northern Blvd. (Route 25A) - make a left (westbound). The first light is the entrance to C.W. Post - make a left. Bronx River Parkway North to Fordham Road Exit (sharp turn to the right). Stay in right lane (about one-third of a mile) and bear right at the fork. Make a right turn onto Southern Blvd. (light after fork). Make first left onto Fordham Campus. Back To Top FORDHAM PREP - ALLERTON AVENUE FIELD By Car: Take the Whitestone Bridge to the Cross Bronx Expressway -- West. Take the Cross Bronx Expressway to the Bronx River Parkway -- North. Take the Bronx River Parkway North to Mosholu Parkway -- Allerton Ave. Exit. Get off exit and proceed ? mile to field on right. By Bus: Take the Whitestone Bridge to the Cross Bronx Expressway. Take the Cross Bronx Expressway to Webster Ave. Exit. Go North on Webster Ave. to Bedford Park Blvd. Make a right at light at Bedford Park Blvd. At next light make a left. Go ? mile and field will be on your left. Parking: There is no parking at this field. There is parking available at the Botanical Gardens Train Station lot. It will cost $3.00 if you arrive after 8:30 a.m. If you wish to park at Fordham Prep, you can do so at no charge and the field is about a 15 minute walk from the school. Or you can try to find street parking on Webster Ave. And 204th Street. If you park at the school, the address is East Fordham Road. You follow directions as above and get off at East Fordham Road and walk down hill to field. Back To Top FORDHAM PREP - INTRAMURAL GYM By Car: Take the Throgs Neck Bridge to the Cross Bronx Expressway. Exit at Webster Ave. Go North on Webster (numbers should be getting larger). The first major intersection is Fordham Rd. (go past this) and make a right at the next major intersection - Bedford Park also known as 200th St. - make another right on Southern Blvd. Go 100 yards and make a right into the University. Go to the Security Guard and tell him that you are there for a wrestling match at the Prep. Make a right and go to the back of the campus. Wrestling Match will be held in the Intramural Gym. After the Whitestone bridge, to straight and follow signs to Hutchinson river parkway. Take the Hutchinson river parkway to exit 17 (north Ave. - New Rochelle). Go down ramp to light. At the light make a left. At the next light bear right onto Wilmot road. Take Wilmot road to stop sign. At stop sign bear left (this is still Wilmot rd.) At the next traffic light make a right into entrance of school. Back To Top KELLENBERG MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL Take Northern State Parkway to the Meadowbrook Parkway South - Exit 31A. Northern State connects directly to Meadowbrook Parkway. Meadowbrook Parkway to Exit M4, Hempstead Turnpike West. Exit ramp is very long and parallels the Meadowbrook Parkway. The exit goes directly onto Hempstead Turnpike (West). Proceed cautiously but quickly into the left lane as you approach the first traffic light. The European American Bank is on your left and the Veteran's Coliseum and the Marriott Hotel are on your right. Turn left at this first traffic light onto Glen Curtiss Blvd. Count two traffic lights. Make the first right after the second traffic light onto the Kellenberg Campus. Back To Top KINGS POINT - United States Merchant Marine Academy From Eastern Long Island: Take the Long Island Expressway West to Exit 33 (Community Drive). Turn right at traffic light onto Community Drive. Follow for 2.5 miles to Middle Neck Road. (Community Drive will change to East Shore Road and then to Hicks Lane, which will end at Middle Neck Road). At Middle Neck Road intersection, turn right onto Middle Neck Road. At the first traffic light, turn left onto Steamboat Road. The Academy is at the end of Steamboat Road (about two miles). Back To Top LAKELAND HIGH SCHOOL Scrub Oak, New York 914-245-3685 Go over the Throgs Neck Bridge and follow signs to the New England Thruway. Get on the New England Thruway and stay on it till you see the exit for the Tappan Zee Bridge (Rt 287). Follow signs for the Tappan Zee Bridge (you do not go over the bridge). Before the bridge you will see signs for 684 north. Get on to 684 north. You will stay on 684 for about 20 minutes. Watch for signs for John Jay crossover route 35. As you get off, bear right and go up a small hill to a traffic light. This will be route 35. Make a left on to route 35. Go about 10 minutes on route 35 till you get to four corners (Mobil and Texaco on corners). At the traffic light make a right turn onto route 202-18 (that's the right route #202-18). Go about 4 lights to route 132. Make right onto route 132. Go about 4 miles (you will pass Yorktown HS - keep going). When you get to a fork in road, bear left you are still on route 132. When you come to a stop sign go straight, but the road will change to East Main Street. Go 1 mile down. Lakeland H.S. is on the left. (if you pass St. Elizabeth Seton Church, you have gone too far, so turn around). (NOTE: Lacrosse games may not be played at the high school, but they will show the team where to go when they get there - it is near by.) Back To Top LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL Brooklyn, NY Belt Parkway West to Exit for Ocean Parkway South. Before you get to Ocean Parkway south you will see signs for Knapp Street and another for Coney Island Ave. and then the sign for Ocean Parkway South. When you get off at Ocean Parkway South stay right and make a big turn (approximately ½ a circle or so) and you will be on Ocean Parkway Service Rd. You will pass under the Belt Parkway - go a short distance to school. Take the Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway (135) south to the Old Country Rd. Exit. Take Old Country Rd. east for approximately 1 - 2 miles (you will pass Manetto Hill Rd.) on the right will be the Nassau County Office Facilities. Take the Belt Parkway west and follow signs to the Verrazano Narrows Bridge. Via Long Island Expressway: Take the LIE West to the Brooklyn Queens Expressway. Follow signs to Verrazano Narrows Bridge. Via Verrazano Narrow Bridge: Take the Verrazano Narrows Bridge to Staten Island Expressway West (towards Goethals Bridge). Exit at West Shore Expressway South (towards Outer Bridge Crossing). Via Jericho Turnpike: Take Jericho Turnpike to Cross Island Parkway, south to Belt Parkway to the Verrazano Bridge. After passing through tollbooth, stay to right. Proceed to the Richmond Road/Clover Road Exit. After exiting stay on this road until 2nd traffic light. Make a left hand turn at that point. This is Richmond Road. Proceed about 2 ? miles. After traveling about 2 ? miles on Richmond Road a landmark will be a Getty Gas Station on the right and a Gulf Gas Station on the left. Also, on the left will be a New Dorp. Via Jericho Turnpike: Take Jericho Turnpike to Cross Island Parkway, south to Belt Parkway to the Verrazano Bridge. Via Verrazano Narrow Bridge: Get off at Hyland Blvd. Exit. (2nd exit off bridge on right). At traffic Light make a left at Fingerboard Rd. Proceed about ¼ mile to Hyland Blvd. At this traffic light make another left onto Hyland Blvd. Proceed approximately 5 miles to Newdorp Ln. At Newdorp Ln. make a left. Proceed ¼ mile to park on left (Miller Field). Entrance to the field is at the end of Newdorp Lane. Proceed to Field 7. Exit at M4 - Nassau Coliseum, etc. Proceed to Hempstead Turnpike, go west, pass the Nassau Coliseum and proceed to Earl Orrington Blvd. and make a right. Molloy College is on your right after this overpass. South Shore: Sunrise Highway to Rockville Centre - North on Long Beach Rd. Stay on route 87 to Tappan Zee Bridge. Cross over the bridge. Take Exit 13 - South - onto Palisades Parkway. Get off at the 1st Exit (Exit 8W) onto Route 59. At first light make a left (this is Smith Street). Follow past library and middle school - entrance to the High School is about 500 feet past the Middle School - Track is behind the school. (You can also take the George Washington Bridge to the Palisades Parkway - North - Exit at 8W - and follow above directions). Go about 3 miles to a fork in the road - bear right - still Deer Park Road. You will come to Jericho Turnpike - merge onto Jericho Turnpike and get into your left lane. You will come to Elwood Road at first traffic light. Make left turn at the light. Stay on Elwood Road for about 3 miles, Northport H.S. will be on your right. You can park by the tennis courts. Back To Top SACHEM SCHOOLS Directions to High School - L.I.E. to Exit 60. Take the service road to Hawkins Ave. (there is no exit for Hawkins Ave. from the L.I.E. - Ronkonkoma Ave. is Exit 60). North on Hawkins Ave. for approximately 2 miles to Smith St. (this intersection is five corners). Turn right on Smith St. and go approximately ¼ mile to the high school. Directions to Sachem South - L.I.E. to Exit 60. Take the service road to Hawkins Ave. North on Hawkins Ave. for approximately 1 ½ miles to School St. Turn right on School St. and go approximately ¼ mile to school. Directions to Sagamore - L.I.E. to Exit 62. North on Nicolls Rd. to Portion Rd. West Exit. At first traffic light on Portion Rd. turn left onto Morris Ave. Turn left on Division St. and go approximately ¼ mile to school. Directions to Seneca - L.I.E. to Exit 61. South on Patchogue-Holbrook Rd. to third traffic light. Turn right onto Furrows Rd. Go one block (Mama Lombardi's is on the corner). Turn left onto Main St. The school is approximately ¼ mile on the right. Back To Top SMITHTOWN HIGH SCHOOL Take the Long Island Expressway to Exit 55. When you get off the L.I.E. you will go north on Old Willets Path. Take Old Willets Path to Jericho Tturnpike (Route 25). After crossing over Jericho Turnpike you will still be heading north, but the name of the road changes to Plymouth Blvd. Continue on Plymouth Blvd. You will pass 3 stop signs. After the stops signs, continue on Plymouth til you see Central Road on your right. Make a right turn on Central Road and go up the hill. Smithtown High Cchool will be at the top of the hill. Travel short distance - road ends at a stop sign. Make a right. You are now traveling parallel to RR tracks - following signs to athletic fields. Approximately ¾ mile after last right you will pass athletic fields on the left. The gym is past the fields on left, set back about 400 yards.
