Mountain Men: Hikers Hit State Park

Mountain Men: Hikers Hit State Park

The Chaminade Hiking Club recently visited Harriman State Park in Orange and Rockland Counties for its first outing of the year. One of the larger parks in the state system, there are many lakes, trails, and views for hikers to enjoy.

Members of the hiking club travel on Saturdays during the school year to locations in the greater Tri-State Area. During many summers, the club heads north to the Adirondacks to tackle some of the finest hiking trails in the Northeast and the storied High Peaks region.

Retreats at Founders Hollow also position the Hiking Club close to the trails of the Catskills and Mid-Hudson Valley.
