Finish Line Nearing on Science Building

Chaminade High School's Science, Technology, and Research Center is drawing closer to completion every day. On Thursday, Nov. 30, local media updated Long Islanders on the landmark endeavor for the school.

In an interview with Newsday reporter Bart Jones, Chaminade President Bro. Thomas Cleary, S.M. '81 said, "It's wonderful to see this dream come to fruition." Assistant Principal of Academics and Chaminade science teacher Mr. Robert Paul '92 said that, in terms of contemporary science education, "We caught up, and we've gone beyond."

News 12 Long Island, Blank Slate Media (with papers in Williston Park, Manhasset, and other North Shore communities), FiOS 1 News, and the Anton Media Group (publishers of the Mineola American, the Oyster Bay Enterprise-Pilot, and several Nassau County weeklies) were also on hand to tour the science center.
